A fantastic way for the Scorpions to round off a long and successful season at the Droitwich Tournament.

Competing against 12 strong teams, including three MJPL sides and several talented Mercian League teams, the Scorpions battled their way out of the group stages before producing outstanding performances in both the quarter-finals and semi-finals.

Playing excellent football throughout and showing great sportsmanship at every stage, the team earned a well-deserved place in the final, where they were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Raiders.

A brilliant effort from everyone involved and a performance to be proud of. Congratulations to the Scorpions on finishing as tournament runners-up, and enjoy a well-earned summer break before returning ready to go again at the end of August.

A huge congratulations to our Under 10 Girls, who have only been together for just over a year. Despite a challenging season with just one league victory, they showed exactly what determination, teamwork and resilience are all about at the recent tournament.

The girls played an incredible eight matches in increasingly warm conditions, producing outstanding performances throughout the morning. Their hard work and commitment earned them a well-deserved place in the final.

Although they narrowly missed out on lifting the trophy, reaching the final was a fantastic achievement and one they should all be immensely proud of. Every player gave their all, represented the club brilliantly, and showed just how much progress they have made.

Well done, girls – the future is incredibly bright, and we can’t wait to see what next season brings!

It was fantastic to see so many NWFC teams, along with their opposition, coming together to support Remembrance Weekend 2024.

Before kick-off, players, coaches, match officials, and supporters united to observe a respectful one-minute silence, taking time to remember and honour the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

Football has a unique way of bringing communities together, and it was wonderful to see clubs across our fixtures showing such respect and unity. Thank you to everyone involved for helping make these moments so meaningful.

This weekend saw the first match for our newly formed Nunnery Wood FC United ladies team!

For the first match a number of our younger player from our girls teams join the players for the game as mascots. It was an amazing experience for the girls and they had a great time.

It also saw our ladies come away with a 3-1 victory over Evesham United Women

It was an FA Cup game for Worcester City Woman last Sunday and the u11 Coyotes girls were invited to be mascots.

The Coyotes had an amazing time and Worester City made us feel extremely welcome and it was very inspiring for the girls.

The team got to have their face painted, a goody bag, do some games at half time on the pitch and a penalty shoot out and get some autographs at the end.

It was amazing for the gilrs to walk out with the team. A great experience for them and one to remember!

We we recently contacted by Crispin Mason-Jones, a retired Architect from Newcastle who over the past 15 months has become very involved with helping to develop football in Mfuwe, a small rural town in NE Zambia.

This began with him raising funds to support a team of orphans that had grown out of an Art Charity, but has now grown to trying to kit out the entire Mambwe District.

Nunnery recenelty donated some of its old kit to‘Kits4Cause which was recenelty presented to Mfuwe where they were able to deliver strips to over 170 children in 16 different teams.

Crispin SAID “it was a fantastic occasion and one which brought joy to a lot of people, so many thanks for your support”

Crispin recently attended our AGM, where we where able to donate another car fully of kit for him to take on his next trip!

Everyone at Nunnery Wood Colts FC is proud to congratulate our Club Secretary, Kerry Ward, on winning the Positive Football Environment Award at the Worcestershire FA Grassroots Football Awards.

The awards recognise the volunteers, clubs and individuals who make a positive difference to grassroots football, celebrating those who create welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable environments for everyone involved in the game.

Following public nominations, winners were selected by a Worcestershire FA judging panel, with county winners progressing to the national awards.

Kerry’s award is a well-deserved recognition of her dedication, hard work and commitment to the club. Her efforts behind the scenes help ensure Nunnery Wood Colts FC continues to provide a positive experience for all our players, coaches and volunteers.

Our u7 Leopards had a fantastic evening on the 26th October! They were invited to participate in the Aston Villa emerging talent tournament !!

The boys really enjoyed the experience.

The latest team to join the NWC Family, is the u9 Phoenix. These boys have been attending our Saturday afternoon development session, and have now formed the newest team.

These boys joined the MJFL and had their first league game on the 1st October and absolutely loved every minute.
